“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
Steve Jobs in a commencement speech at Stanford in 2005
Self-taught artist working in the hills of Central Texas. The twist and turns of the world and nature are the inspiration behind her work. She has spent a number of years experimenting with ways to push the medium of pastel beyond it's traditional constraints by using textures, grounds and layers; mixing dry pastels with waxes to express light and hidden messages. She continues to experiment with ways to push her primary chosen medium of pastels.
